Denise Odekerken

Denise Odekerken is employed as a humanist counsellor by deMens.nu and since 2021 holds the position of guest professor in the postgraduate program Praktisch Humanisme at the VUB. She has a master’s degree in ethics. In the past 20 years, she has specialised in the practice of humanist ceremonies in all its multiplicity. She has a particular interest in the creation of rituals and symbolism within current day society from the humanist point of view. Added to this is her expertise in training and coaching of volunteers and early stage colleagues within deMens.nu
