During the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023, MA History student Nyala Nauwelaers is assisting some members of our research group with the retrieval of the whereabouts of the Belgian freethinker periodicals in the various archival institutions across Belgium. She will insert the collected information on the different periodicals, their year of publication and location of preservation into the ODIS-system, making this information digitally available for scholars worldwide. In addition, her consultations will provide an idea of the conditions of these publications and allow for the preparation of a joint-digitisation project in the future.
